Pedestrian 'Extremely Critical' After North Philly Hit-Run: PD

A pedestrian suffered fractures to their skull and hips after being struck in a hit-and-run in Philadelphia on Friday night, Dec. 29, according to city police.

Authorities said the victim was crossing North Broad Street at West Susquehanna Avenue around 9:35 p.m. when they were hit by a dark-colored Nissan. 

The victim was hospitalized in "extremely critical condition" with "severe injuries," PPD said. 

The Nissan is said to be dark gray with a sunroof and possible damage to its front end. Three of its wheels are silver and the front-left wheel is black, detectives said.
